Classes Descriptions and Schedules 

Gentle Yoga is best suited for students who are new to yoga or are currently experiencing an injury or chronic pain.  Postural alignment principles are taught and practiced to promote new pathways to strength, flexibility and increased balance.  Breathing techniques are introduced to enhance mental clarity, focus and feelings of rejuvenation. 

Gentle Yoga:  Thurs. 5:30 PM, and Sat. 9:00 AM

Yoga Level 1-2 is for beginning and intermediate students who wish to deepen their yoga practice and understanding of the Anusara-inspired principles of alignment.  These important alignment principles will lead you safely into beneficial backbends, spinal twists, inversions, arm balances and forward bends.

Mon. Fri. 8:30 AM and Tues. and Wed. 5:30 PM

HoopDance:  Shave off inches from your mid-section and improve cardiovascular health through the process of hoop-dancing.  No experience is necessary and professional, adult-sized hoops are available for purchase at the yoga center.  When you sign up for HoopDance you can take all three classes for the price of one!

Monday 5:30 PM and Wednesday 8:30 AM

 

All yoga classes are1 hour and 15 minutes

HoopDance classes are 1 hour

 

Tai Chi:  Is an ancient Chinese form of exercise that flows from one movement into another with grace and precision. Practiced by all ages, tai chi is especally respected by our senior community for its reputation to improve overall-everyday functioning.  Among the many health benefits are stress relief, better sleep, increased stamina and agility, and improved flexibility and balance.  Prenatal Yoga:  Classes help prepare you for the birth of your baby.  The prenatal exercises focus on bringing awareness and ease as you transition through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.  For additional information, please contact Claire Fitiausi at 559-362-5228 or check out the prenatal FAQ's at the right of this page.

Mommy & Baby Yoga:  You'll learn the secret language of babies; the five techniques to calm your baby and how to teach baby sign language.  Gentle yoga is taught to keep moms healthy, happy and stress free.  Please call Claire Fitiausi @ 559-362-5228 for private or group sessions.
