| Q |
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT A PRENATAL YOGA CLASS?
|
| A |
The class begins with time to share and discuss various topics related to pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. Our yoga practice begins with simple breathing exercises to help you become more centered and connected to the new life developing within you. We then transition to your circulation. Several yoga postures are offered to help develop strength, flexibility, balance and stamina to support you during pregnancy and in preparation for labor. Finally, we end with a series of guided relaxation techniques that can be used during your pregnancy, in labor and delivery, parenthood and beyond.
